United Medical Associates Infusion Center
The United Medical Associates Infusion Center is located in our Gastroenterology Office, 40 Mitchell Avenue, Binghamton, NY 13903.

The Infusion Center, with it’s inviting atmosphere and friendly staff, serves the needs of individuals who use intravenous medication as treatment for various conditions.
Some patients with rheumatoid arthritis, use the medication Remicade to help lessen the symptoms of the disease as well as slow its progression. Patients with Crohn’s disease also use Remicade to achieve the same outcome.

The Infusion Center also provides hydration with various fluids for patient’s who are having difficulty keeping their fluid intake at a normal level due to illness or physical circumstance. There are several other intravenous treatments that make a tremendous difference in a patient’s health and quality of life.

There are plans to expand the Center’s services to include additional infusion therapies. Since its opening three years ago, we have had the pleasure of welcoming patients of all ages and walks of life.

Infusions, depending upon the medication ordered, can take as little as thirty minutes or up to four hours. Comfortable reclining chairs, television, music and refreshments are used to make the patient’s experience a pleasant one. The Infusion Center staff welcomes calls from interested patients or their physicians to answer any questions. We can be reached at 607.772.0639.
