Home Emergency Alarm Response System
Project H.E.A.R.
Get emergency help with the touch of a button
Project H.E.A.R. is a Home Emergency Alarm Response
system which operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, through your home
telephone. It is an affordable alternative for people who want the
reassurance of help if they need it - the elderly, infirmed, single parent with
young children, or anyone who desires security and peace of mind.
How the system works
1. You wear a lightweight activator as a pendant or
wristband. If help is needed, you simply press the button on the
activator.
2. The signal is then passed through the H.E.A.R. control unit in your home to
the Emergency Response Center at Binghamton General Hospital or Wilson Memorial
Regional Medical Center. Automatically, your message is received and your
name and personal information flash on the computer screen.
3. Within seconds, a trained specialist speaks to you, even if you are in
another room. Whether you are able to speak or not, the emergency response
operator will speak to you. Immediately, appropriate emergency aid is
dispatched to you.
Activators are available in pendant or wristband styles. They are
completely portable with no wires attached, weight less than two ounces and are
waterproof so they can be worn in the shower or bath.
The H.E.A.R system works even if there is a power outage. The unit is
equipped with a mircophone inside which brings two way voice communication with
the emergency response operator. The operator can hear you speak within a
reasonable range.
Project H.E.A.R. is...
- Affordable and easy to operate
- Available in voice and non-voice units
- Staffed by highly trained technicians and operators

emergency response system
