Southern Tier Healthlink
Southern Tier HealthLink (STHL) is the RHIO (Regional Health Information Organization) that manages the Health Information Exchange (HIE) for our region, which includes Broome, Tioga, Chenango, Otsego, and Delaware counties.
Southern Tier HealthLink helps Connect the Dots between patient data from multiple care providers, which is often spread across the region and not easily shared. By using STHL’s Health Information Exchange (HIE), healthcare providers can access their patients’ data from all of their connected providers in one place. By providing better access to more comprehensive patient records, the HIE can help improve care quality, care coordination, patient safety, healthcare outcomes, and reduce healthcare costs.
