Perhaps you’d like more detailed information about a medical condition your doctor has discussed with you. Nurse Direct can help with up-to-date, reliable medical information that’s free and confidential.

In addition to information, the registered nurses at Nurse Direct can also provide physician referrals and referrals to other health education and community services, such as UHS Stay Healthy classes.   In 2010, we handled more than 16,200 calls from people looking for information or physician referrals.  Another 16,000 calls were made to people needing follow-up on disease management and special programs.
