ABOUT US

The New Joints in Action Golf Tournament benefits the United

Health Services Foundation’s Allaben Orthopedic Fund, in

support of orthopedic programs, services and equipment at

United Health Services Hospitals. The fund honors the memory

of Charles Moore Allaben, M.D., the Southern Tier’s first

orthopedic surgeon, and seeks to further the innovative

approaches to treatment he pioneered.

The purchase of the following equipment, which cost over

$295,000, was made possible in large part from monies donated

to the Allaben Fund.

• Endoscopic ACL Drill Guide

• Inlight Orthopedic Share Choice System

• Hand Surgery Table

• Midmark Spinal/Shoulder Surgical Table

• C-Arm for the OR at Binghamton General Hospital

• Orthopedic Fracture Table at Binghamton General Hospital

THERE'S NO OTHER TOURNAMENT LIKE IT!

When have you ever had to putt with a putter made from a total hip or total knee prostheses?

On holes number 9 and 18, everyone must use a putter made from a total hip and a total knee.

To the right is a  photo of the head of a total hip prosthesis putter.
