Women Fore Women golf classic preparations
The 16th Annual Women Fore Women Golf
Classic is fast approaching. Along with a wonderful day of golf, there
is a raffle board with many wonderful prizes available to win. This
year there are gift certificates for local restaurants, rounds of golf,
massages as well as goody baskets and many more wonderful items and
certificates.
The Foundation is offering everyone a chance to participate in the
raffle by buying a spot on the raffle board. The raffle board is on
display in the UHS Foundation, located in Johnson Hall at UHS Binghamton
General.
The cost of the raffle is $10 per square or 3 squares for $25. There are
a limited number of squares available so your odds of winning are
great. Stop over to the Foundation Monday-Friday between 7:30 a.m. to
4:30 p.m. to take a chance on some great prizes and help a great cause.
The raffle will be available until September 6.
Also available to bid on is a hot air balloon ride for two. If you
have ever wanted to experience the thrill of flying in a hot air
balloon, the UHS Foundation
has a gift certificate good for two to experience flying over Broome
County courtesy of Rogers Service Group. The certificate is good from
May to October. The opening bid is $200.00 and bidding increments will
be $20.00. The auction runs from August 13 until noon on August 31.
Proceeds from the raffle board and auction will benefit Women Fore
Women, whose mission is to generate funds which support education,
prevention, early detection and treatment programs in the battle against
breast cancer and related women’s health issues.
