Do you know the symptoms of a heart attack in women?  They aren't the same as those seen in men.  Knowing the difference can be the difference between life and death.

Here are the facts:  Heart disease is the number 1 killer of women.  It kills more women than all cancers combined, and more women than men. Yet many women don’t even know they have it. That’s because heart disease symptoms for women are different, and the danger can start earlier in life than you think.

In men, we see symptoms such as shortness of breath, heavy pain across the chest nausea and vomiting.  While women share some of these, the signs aren't all the same.

Know the symptoms:

  • Extreme Fatigue

Many times, these signs in women can be mistaken for something less serious.  But they can be the signs of a heart attack.  Know the symptoms.  Know when to call 911.
