Patients admitted to the Rehabilitation unit can be classified into these

The Sandiford Rehabilitation Center can provide services for school age
children, (age 6 is the youngest age accepted) adolescence, adults and geriatric
patients. The majority of patients are adult and geriatric age.
Length of stay at The Sandiford Rehabilitation Center is based on a patients
rehabilitation diagnosis and treatment plan. An average length of stay could be
five days for orthopedic patients, to two to three weeks for neurologically
impaired patients, such as stroke or brain injury patients.
The Sandiford Rehabilitation Center is Medicare Certified and also works with
