Diabetes

We believe that patient education is an essential component of the on-going
quality care we provide to the diabetic population of our community. We strongly
emphasize the concepts of self-management and patient responsibility. We promote
these concepts through a teaching program designed to provide individuals with
diabetes, their families, significant others, and friends with needed and
desired information in the area of technical, psychosocial and behavioral skills
in order to achieve and maintain optimal health.
