If you are a graduate of an Offshore Medical School such as Ross University, St. Georges University or the American University of the Caribbean, your application to a residency program at Wilson will be viewed similarly to a graduate of a US Medical School. While it is preferred that you have passed both steps of the USMLE prior to applying, we will consider your application after you have passed Step 1. There is no minimum passing score for Offshore medical graduates, however a first time passing score is preferred.
Graduates of Offshore Medical Schools should be able to demonstrate an ability to receive ECFMG certification prior to match deadlines. In cases where this is not possible, your application will be considered for any available post-match positions.
Additional questions about applying to Wilson as an Offshore Medical School graduate should be directed to Jim Fowler, Residency Recruiter.
