“Welcome to the IM Residency website. Our goal is to show you how well balanced and supportive our program is with a very diverse patient population and a flexible curriculum. You will become skilled in both outpatient and inpatient medicine as well as critical care. There are students from many allopathic and osteopathic medical schools rotating at Wilson who add to the team effort and challenge your teaching skills. Our system depends on the resident to promote timely and contemporary patient care, manage resources and work with a wide variety of staff on many other clinical, social and ethical issues. By completing your residency with us, you will be well prepared for wherever your career takes you, be it practice or subspecialty training. I look forward to the chance to work with you.”
