Welcome to the Medical Education Office at United Health Services Hospitals,
Wilson Medical Center. It is our goal to offer outstanding training for
medical students, residents, fellows and practicing physicians. We provide
an outstanding balance between hands-on clinical experience, didactic learning
and exceptional quality of life.
Wilson Medical Center is a community-based, university affiliated teaching
hospital located in the Southern Tier of New York State. It is the largest
and most comprehensive health care organization in the Greater Binghamton area
who’s patient care coverage area encompasses all of Broome County and much of

United Health Services is an umbrella organization that oversees the following:
Four hospitals including Wilson Medical Center, Binghamton General Hospital,
Chenango Memorial Hospital and Delaware Valley Hospital. Others include Walk-in

Home Health and Professional Home Care, Multiple medicine and family practice
based care centers.
Our Programs
Our residencies are dually accredited by the AOA and the ACGME (the Podiatric
Residency Program is accredited by the CPME). In addition, residents in
our Family Medicine and Internal Medicine residency programs can earn a
Certificate of Added Certification in Medical Acupuncture.
