Working together with the Center's staff, you can put together a combination of
accommodations and services that most effectively and affordably suits your
needs.
Independent Living apartments at Ideal Square Choose from 33 private one-or-two bedroom units. Rental package includes waitered evening meal in Dining Room, monthly
housekeeping, utilities, transportation, activities, and care management. Each unit boasts a modern kitchen. Large bathrooms with walk-in shower. Optional meal service from which to choose one or two additional meals per day. Basic cable TV service. Laundry facilities on each floor. Organized Social Activities. Emergency Call Systems in bedrooms and baths. Free on site fitness/wellness center. Free scheduled transportation to shopping, appointments. Home Care Services available for a fee from our Licensed Home Care Agency.
Adult Care/Assisted Living Rooms 62 separate units, private or semi-private. Medication management. Physical assistance available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Three full meals each day. Emergency call system in each unit. Large bathrooms with walk-in shower. Basic cable TV service. Free scheduled transportation to appointments. Organized social activities. Free onsite fitness/wellness center. Rental package includes housekeeping, laundry services, and personal care.
Skilled Nursing Care 150 bed facility, semiprivate or private rooms. Bright, homelike units. Full-time registered nurse and medical staff to provide care 24 hours a day,
seven days a week. Special care units for complex medical and nursing needs. Daily recreational and therapeutic activities; including crafts, parties, music,
and inter-generational programs. Qualified physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech pathologist and
social workers. Outdoor courtyard. Nutritionally prepared cuisine (meals), created to meet personal preferences. Very good short stay rehab program to assist in gaining independence after such
things as hip or knee surgery or stroke. Certified Geriatrician and Geriatric Nurse Practitioner on-site. Access to Geriatric Psychiatric evaluations through affiliations with Columbia
University.
