Patient and Visitor Information
When you are admitted to Delaware Valley Hospital, you can count on Patient Services to be there for
you.
Visiting Hours:
Dietary: The dietary department provides your meals. Guest trays can be provided, on
request, for patients' family or friends.
Our two certified dietitian/nutritionists are available for dietary counseling
for both inpatients and outpatients. Diabetes patient education classes are held
regularly.
Pharmacy: The pharmacy prepares and dispenses all inpatient medications, chemotherapeutic
prescriptions and IV solutions.
Patient and Family Services Social Worker: From the time you are admitted, she will work closely with you, your physician,
the nursing staff and your family to assist you with your plans. We want to be
sure your daily living needs will be met when you return to your home. We know
how to make arrangements for home nursing services, adult day care or senior
meals. Our professionals can also coordinate the admission to an adult home or
nursing home, when necessary.
