Family Health Centers
Delaware Valley Hospital first opened as an acute care facility in November,
1951. Today, services have expanded to include a network of Family Health
Centers providing a full spectrum of primary care services for all ages.. Our dedicated team
of doctors and allied health professionals assure patients of high quality care.
The headquarters and main site for DVH primary care is the Family Health Center in Walton. The center is staffed by physicians, as well as, Family Nurse Practitioners.
A full range of healthcare services are offered including Routine health maintenance Pediatric care and immunizations Routine and chronic care for seniors Women's health services Men's health services Treatment of minor illnesses and injuries School, camp and employment physicals Adolescent medicine Management of chronic diseases Routine laboratory testing Lesion removal Osteopathic manipulation
We also have Family Health Centers located in: Downsville - Staffed by a family medicine physician who also specializes in osteopathic manipulation Roscoe - Staffed by a full-time family
medicine physician and nurse practitioner and a pediatrician who each see patients at this location one day per week.
Prescription Delivery Service For our patients living in the Downsville and Roscoe area, we recognize that the lack of a nearby pharmacy can make obtaining prescriptions difficult. For these residents, we offer a free prescription delivery service. Prescriptions are delivered to the Delaware Valley Family Health Centers in Downsville on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and to the Roscoe Health Center Monday through Friday. Patients must be customers of CVS in Walton and advance notice is required.
