Emergency Room
You can rely on Delaware Valley Hospital's team of highly qualified healthcare
professionals in an emergency situation. The DVH Emergency Department is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by on-call physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses and support staff.
Patients requiring a higher level of care or more specialized treatment at a
trauma center, can receive the emergency, high-quality care and
stabilization they need at Delaware Valley Hospital. Patients can then be transported to an
appropriate Trauma Center such as Wilson Memorial Regional Medical Center, in
Johnson City, NY.
Delaware Valley Hospital works with various ambulance services and maintains an
onsite
helipad, recently built through the generous donations of local businesses and
community members.

Health Tip: Patients using the emergency room should bring a list of their
medications, the dosages and time of day taken, or their prescription bottles
with them. This helps the Emergency staff when assessing your condition.
