Heart Care Center

Located on Chenango Memorial Hospital’s first floor, the Heart Care Center provides a wide range of cardiovascular testing.  Convenience is an important part of this advanced service at CMH.  Residents no longer have to drive long distances to take advantage of modern diagnostic tests including electrocardiography, ultrasound heart exams, short and long term heart monitoring even exercise and pharmacologic electrocardiography.  The Heart Care Center and its Medical Director Dr. John Brereton, MD FACP, are proud to offer local residents access to these expanded cardiovascular diagnostic testing options.

Chenango Memorial Hospital’s Heart Care Center functions with three goals in mind:

  • Prevention and detection of cardiovascular problems at an early stage.
  • Access to cardiac testing and treatment to local residents right here in our community.
  • Providing education about heart and circulation problems as well as how to prevent them.

The Heart Care Center is always happy to accept new patients and has many appointment options available.  For more information about the Heart Care Center, to schedule an appointment to see Dr. Brereton or to arrange for any heart testing that your doctor has advised, please call (607) 337-4215.
