Binghamton General Hospital is the birthplace of hospital care in Broome County.  Founded in 1888, Binghamton General has offered patients comprehensive, high-quality health care services for more than 100 years.

Today, Binghamton General is one of two full-service hospitals operated by United Health Services Hospitals, a member of the United Health Services health care system.  Millions of dollars have been invested in improvements and new equipment to enable Binghamton General to remain a vital, full-service community hospital one of the centerpieces of the United Health Services system.
