Our audiologists have comprehensive training in the prevention, education, assessment and nonmedical treatment of hearing disorders. They are also licensed by New York state and certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and the American Academy of Audiology.

Located at UHS Wilson Medical Center in Johnson City, UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital in Norwich and UHS Delaware Valley Hospital in Walton the Audiology Services Team offers a variety of diagnostic and rehabilitation services, including the following (some require physician referral):
- Infant hearing screenings provide early identification of hearing loss in newborns; follow up services are provided for infants who fail the initial screening or those at high risk for hearing loss
- Hearing evaluations* can determine a patient’s type/extent of hearing loss and the impact of any loss on communication
- Hearing aid evaluations enable us to help patients select the most beneficial hearing aid Hearing aid dispensing and repair services include fitting and modifying hearing aids and earmolds, as well as providing hearing aid supplies
