Auxiliary Donates Over $34,000 to UHS Binghamton General Hospital

At its recent annual meeting, the UHS Auxiliary Binghamton General Hospital presented a check for $29,806 to UHS Binghamton General, bringing the Auxiliary's total giving to the hospital to $34,872 over the past year.

John Carrigg, executive vice president and chief operating officer of UHS, accepted the check at the luncheon meeting, attended by hospital auxilians and volunteers.

The money is raised through Auxiliary events, such as sales and bazaars, held at the hospital throughout the year.

The Auxiliaries of UHS are volunteer organizations that raise funds to benefit UHS' hospitals, including the purchase of medical equipment and supplies and the enhancement of patient care services.
