Employees recognized for Lean contributions

Employees who have attained Lean Six Sigma belt certifications were recognized April 6 for their contributions to performance improvement projects at UHS.

Lean

ASQ recognized those employees who have attained Lean Six Sigma belt certifications for their contributions to performance improvement projects at UHS.

The recognition was part of the monthly meeting of the American Society for Quality, hosted on this occasion in the Russell Room at UHS Binghamton General by the UHS Performance Improvement Department.

ASQ certification is a formal recognition that an individual has demonstrated a proficiency within - and comprehension of - a specific level of Lean Six Sigma knowledge.

Presentations at the meeting also included updates from UHS' Quality Assurance, Population Health and Bundled Payments for Care Improvement groups.
