11th Annual Hematology/Hematopathology Symposium coming up

This is a reminder there is still time to register for the 11th Annual Hematology/Hematopathology Symposium which will take place on Saturday, May 21 from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. at the Sheraton Syracuse University Hotel & Conference Center, Syracuse, NY.

Dr. Ahmet Dogan, MD, PhD an internationally-known hematopathologist from Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, New York, NY will be the keynote speaker.

Experts from SUNY Upstate Medical University, Syracuse, NY, University of Rochester, Rochester, NY, Roswell Park Cancer Institute, Buffalo, NY, Albany Medical Center, Albany, NY, Emory University Hospital, Atlanta, GA, and Yale University, New Haven, CT will be the guest speakers.

A light breakfast and lunch are provided and the symposium offers 7.5 AMA PRA CME Credit hours.

Conference Objectives:

  1. Recognize morphologic and immunophenotypic features that predict unexpected behavior of B-cell lymphomas.
  2. Recognize genetic and epigenetic features that predict unexpected behavior of B-cell lymphomas.
  3. Describe current and emerging therapies for B-cell lymphomas based on their predicted clinical behavior.
