September 28 Mended Hearts Meeting - Fall Prevention

Falls are the number one reason why older people lose their independence. Even the fear of falling can have a detrimental impact on the quality of a persons life.

Join us at the free September Mended Hearts meeting and find out steps you can take to reduce your risk of falling, and the associated injuries and possible loss of independence. Guest speakers will be Amy Roma, RN, and Bridget Talbut, RN. They were recently featured speakers at the Falls Prevention Summit in Arlington, VA.

The meeting will take place at UHS Wilson Medical Center, Picciano 4, Room 5ABC on Monday, September 28. Meeting begins at 6:30 p.m., followed by the presentation at 7 p.m.
