Pediatric Care Provider Joins UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital

Yesu-MattaDr. Yesu Matta has joined the pediatrics health care team at UHS Pediatrics in Norwich. Dr. Matta joins the skilled team of Dr. Christina Wilson, Dr. Kristina Hummer, Dr. Samuel Addo and Judy Glover, MS, RN, FNP-C, to provide services in adolescent primary care.

Dr. Matta completed his pediatric residency at the Harlem Hospital Center in New York. Dr. Matta’s medical schooling was completed at J.J.M Medical College, Davangere, India, and he is looking forward to bringing his energy and pediatric care skills to our area. Dr. Matta stated, “I relate well with children because I was one of 8 siblings and have been around younger children my whole life. I just feel comfortable around all my patients.” Chris Kisacky, VP Operations, stated, “We are very excited to offer an additional provider to the area’s younger patients and their families. Dr. Matta brings knowledge and energy to pediatric care and we look forward to our new and returning UHS patients meeting him.”

Dr. Matta commented, “Communication with both the patients and their parents is an important way to keep everyone comfortable, and I think talking to the children helps keep them calm.”
