Events to raise funds for Relay for Life

Several fundraising activities are planned at UHS in the days leading up to Relay for Life. The events will raise dollars that will be contributed to Team UHS' participation in Relay, which will be held in June.

A "Wine Painting Fundraiser," an evening of painting and fun, will be held on Thursday, May 28, starting at 6 p.m., at Wet Paint, 345 Harry L Drive, Johnson City.

The fee is $35 per person. One-quarter of the proceeds will benefit Relay.

Advance registration is required by Wednesday, May 27; call Tiffany or Marie at Radiation Oncology at 763-8181. Seating is limited.

You can select a painting you wish to create based on the theme of "Hope" or "Faith." No art skill is required; you will be taught how to create your own masterpiece.

Snacks, coffee, water and soft drinks will be provided. You can feel free to bring your own wine or purchase wine at Wet Paint; wine will not be provided free.

Other fundraisers will include:
