'Art a la Carte' Support Group featured on WBGH

UHS Women's Expressive Arts Cancer Support Group's 'Art a la Carte' art show, was on First Friday at HealthLink's Downtown Binghamton location. The art show had an overwhelming response and there were many stories shared in the pieces that included Circle Book Journals, Self-Portrait Masks and Resiliency Tool Kits. The Women's Expressive Arts Cancer Support Group is a free group that meets the first Tuesday of each month. It is intended to serve as support to women who currently have or have had cancer with the goal of encouraging creativity, resiliency and empowerment. All activities are user friendly and no previous artistic skills are required. The group is facilitated by Jennifer McCormick, LMSW and Yvonne Lucia.
