UHS Leaders to Speak at BU

Three members of the UHS team will be among the principal speakers next week at the 13th Binghamton Symposium on Healthcare Management and Policy, Manas Chatterji, professor of management at Binghamton University, has announced.

John Carrigg, executive vice president and chief operating officer of UHS, will chair a session on the hospital and healthcare workforce in New York State. Mike McNally, vice president for Human Resources at UHS, will be a participant in that session. Alan Wilmarth, administrative director of Behavioral and Psychiatric Health at UHS, will participate in a session on physician perspectives on the healthcare workforce.

The event will take place on Friday, April 4, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., in Room DC 220 A/B, College of Community and Public Affairs, Downtown Center, Binghamton University. The symposium will involve professionals from several health-related fields focusing this year on "The New York State Healthcare Workforce." For more information, call 777-2475
