Governor names McNally to state workforce panel

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo has named Michael McNally, vice president for Human Resources at UHS Hospitals, to the New York State Workforce Investment Board.  Mike will serve a three-year term.

SWIB is the governing body for the workforce-development, one-stop services delivery system of New York State as designated under the Workforce Investment Act of 1998.

The state Department of Labor is administrator of WIA funds and staff to the board. The panel includes 49 members: eight from the executive branch of state government, four from the legislative, 25 from the business community and 12 other members.
