Mended Hearts CyberKnife presentation April 22

Join us at a free Mended Hearts support group meeting on Monday, April 22 when guest speaker Molli Reppard, RN, BSN, OCN, will discuss the advantages of the CyberKnife Robotic Radiosurgery System.

The meeting will start at 6:30 p.m., with the free presentation following at 7, on Picciano 4, Room 5ABC, at UHS Wilson Medical Center. Advance registration is not required.

CyberKnife is a non-invasive alternative to surgery for the treatment of both cancerous and non-cancerous tumors throughout the body, including the prostate, lung, brain, spine, liver, pancreas and kidney. The treatment – which delivers beams of high dose radiation to tumors with extreme accuracy – offers new hope to patients worldwide. It provides a pain-free, non-surgical option for patients who have inoperable or surgically complex tumors, or who may be looking for an alternative to surgery.

Mended Hearts offers hope and educates patients about cardiovascular health, empowering them as they manage a heart-healthy lifestyle. Mended Hearts meetings are free and open to the public. For more information visit
