Community Service Reports

Throughout the year, UHS provides a host of community services and benefits to people in the Greater Binghamton and Southern Tier region as part of our charitable mission.

In 2011, UHS provided $30,181,000.00 in net uncompensated and charity care.  And as the Greater Binghamton community recovered from a major flood disaster, we responded to community need, kept our doors open to care for flood victims and their families, and maintained quality services at our hospitals, long-term care facilities, home care agencies and primary care offices.
