UHS Delaware Valley Hospital Recognized As Top 100 Critical Access Hospital
During its recent Critical Access Hospital Conference in Kansas City, The National Rural Health Association announced that UHS Delaware Valley Hospital is among the top 100 Critical Access Hospitals in the nation. The hospital achieved this national recognition based on the Hospital Strength Index™ .
Hospital President and CEO David Polge commented on this national honor: “This national study confirms that UHS Delaware Valley Hospital is doing a great job, keeping our patients at the center of our care, and providing the essential health care services our local residents need. Our talented staff and providers work hard to earn this recognition.”
The Hospital Strength Index™ uses publicly available data sources to compare general acute-care hospitals, rating them on financial, value-based and market-driven performance. “The results of this study, which compared our hospital to 1267 other Critical Access Hospitals, indicate that UHS Delaware Valley Hospital is a strong hospital,” stated Mr. Polge. “That’s good news for us at the hospital and for our patients and community.”
