Seniors: Medicare considerations for 2012
Medicare’s 2012 open enrollment period is October 15
thru December 7. It is the one time of year when Medicare beneficiaries
may enroll in, or switch to a different drug plan - Part D and/or
change their Medicare Advantage Plan - Part C.
During the open
enrollment period, companies hold informational sessions to promote and
sell their plans. If you are interested in specific plans, attend their
sessions and examine what they are offering.
For seniors that are computer savvy, visit www.Medicare.gov, click onto “Compare Health and Drug Plans” and follow the instructions to compare plans.
