Professional Home Care Ithaca gets new home in shopping plaza
Professional Home Care Ithaca recently relocated to the Ithaca Shopping Plaza at 222 Elmira Road. This New York State licensed and Medicare accredited agency has been providing home health services and medical equipment and supplies to Ithaca residents since 2006. Formerly located on Hanshaw Road, Professional Home Care Ithaca moved to Suite 4 of the Ithaca Shopping Plaza in December.
“We relocated so we could be more accessible to our customers,” explains Blaine Olmsted, RRT, director of community relations, Professional Home Care Ithaca. “We are proud to have become an integral part of the Ithaca community, and our new location puts us right at the center of it.”
According to Greg Rittenhouse, vice president of operations for UHS Home Care, “Our goal is to continue providing high-quality products and services to our customers in Ithaca, while at the same time growing our relationships with the healthcare community in Tompkins County.”
In addition to a broad range of medical equipment and supplies, Professional Home Care Ithaca provides a variety of specialized products and services. These include stair glides and wheelchair ramps, home oxygen delivery systems, nutritional supplies, sleep apnea services, compression hosiery, orthopedic braces, seat lift chairs, hospital beds, walkers and wheelchairs.
Olmsted says customer response to the new store has been positive. “Our customers are extremely happy that we are more accessible and more visible,” he says. “People are pleased that we have been able to increase our retail services and nearly double our product offerings. Plus, they say the new store is very comfortable and inviting.”
Professional Home Care Ithaca is open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. You can reach the store by telephone at 607.257.1425 or 1.800.361.1376.
