Tuesday, April 10, 2012 - UHS Diabetic and Wound Care Education staff to be at Oakdale Mall

Representatives from the UHS Diabetes and Endocrine Office and the UHS Center for Advanced Wound Care will be at the Oakdale Mall April 14, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m., educating the community and doing free glucose screenings!

The UHS Diabetes and Endocrine Office has multiple Certified Diabetic Educators that teach patients responsibility and self management using both an individual and group education setting. There are also multiple providers available to help manage diabetic care. The UHS Center for Advanced Wound Care provides cutting-edge, personalized treatments for a variety of non-healing wounds including, but not limited to, foot ulcers, pressure ulcers and surgical wounds. Combining the latest technology, like Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, with education and prevention, our Center can provide more complete healing to patients while paying close attention to their individual needs.

Come to the Oakdale Mall on Saturday, April 14 between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. to learn more about these speciality services, and how we might be able to help you!
