In alignment with the organization’s mission and values, United Health Services is committed to compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. To facilitate such compliance, United Health Services has voluntarily adopted a Corporate Compliance Program that is intended to meet the criteria set forth in the Department of Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General’s Compliance Program Guidelines and the Federal Sentencing Guidelines.
As part of our Integrity and Compliance Program, United Health Services has adopted compliance policies and procedures that describe the ethical and legal responsibilities of all employees and staff of United Health Services, its subsidiaries and divisions, and any contractors acting on the company’s behalf.

Reporting a Compliance Concern
In alignment with United Health Services Administrative Policy 3.3 – Corporate Compliance, the United Health Services corporate compliance officer and the Corporate Compliance Council have established formal protocols and reporting mechanisms to receive and respond to material allegations of fraud, waste or abuse from management and staff.
United Health Services system compliance line and other reporting mechanisms offer alternative routes of communication for all employees and independent contractors to anonymously report their allegations of non-compliance when normal communication channels are perceived to be inadequate, ineffective, or unsafe by management or employee.
United Health Services is a not-for-profit organization, operated for the public benefit. Each of the seven member organizations comprising United Health Services is owned by the community it serves, and each organization is governed by an all-volunteer board of directors composed of local citizens.
